As part of their continued growth and expansion plan, our client is currently seeking a Sales and Customer Service Trainer to join their Sales and Development team on a full-time permanent basis

JOB PROFILE

Our client, a well-known industry leading organisation are looking for a Sales and Customer Service Trainer to join their team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;

  • Partner with the senior sales management Team and Head of Customer Service to identify current and future skills gaps of the Sales Force and of Customer facing employees and determine training plans to meet these
  • Design and deliver training programmes for new and existing customer facing employees to meet the required knowledge, skills and behaviours to drive sales performance and deliver an exceptional experience to the clients customers
  • Source, and in some instances, deliver relevant and engaging Sales and Sales Management Training
  • Manage the Sales Academy in conjunction with the Sales Management Team, to ensure its effective operation
  • Coach and advise Sales Managers on how to improve the performance of their Sales Team members and recommend action to fill capability gaps
  • Encourage the continued professional development of the Sales Force and ensure records of training are properly kept
  • Keep abreast of 'best practice' training methods; evaluate and report on the effectiveness of Sales and Customer Service training programmes and training suppliers to ensure continuous improvement and value for money training spend
  • Liaise with the HR Manager on budgets, cost, quality and suitability of training solutions to be delivered.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED;

  • Demonstrate and draw on substantial experience in training design and delivery in a decentralised customer service organisation
  • Demonstrate and draw on experience of working in a sales environment, ideally with experience of working in customer services or having had delivered training in this area
  • Possess a complete conceptual understanding of the capabilities and competencies required for effective selling
  • Demonstrate engaging and effective training delivery skills
  • Possess effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • Be able to draw on and utilise strong planning and organisational skills
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Be flexible to travel extensively with overnight stays
  • Have a relevant degree or training qualification
