A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our favourite client’s organisation, who happen to be listed in the Top 100 companies to work for!

They are the leaders in their field, with fabulous home orientated products that absolutely fly off the shelves. To support the ever increasing demand for their products, they are looking for a top drawer Trade Sales Manager to assist in steering them to the next level.

Our Client would be interested in hearing from candidates who have worked for the top three D.I.Y. companies, Mobile phone companies, Furniture, Bedding or similar industries.

Initially, there will be a requirement for you to make a lot of outbound sales calls to establish your clientele and offer the companies products to all potential trade customers.

This will later develop into more of an account management role as you succeed in attracting more and more Trade customers into the branch.

As a Trade Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business leads into appointments and then converting these into new and repeat business sales. You will also be expected to develop your own leads as well as using provided lists of data. Reporting to the Area Manager, the main duties of the Trade Sales Manager will include:

? Achieving monthly and quarterly KPI’s/Targets

? Making outbound calls in-line with targets

? Signing up new trade account customers In-line with targets on a monthly and quarterly basis

? Generating new leads and new business where possible to drive trade sales overall

? Following up on any initial leads with further contact and appointments to generate new/repeat business where possible

? Assisting trade account holders to find the goods and products required

? Delivering all round excellent customer service and ensuring customers have a great shopping experience

? Answering queries from customers both face to face, through email and over the phone

? Ensuring trade customers are kept up to date with current offers

? Monitoring sales orders to ensure dispatch times are met and orders reach customers on time

? Working within established process & procedure guidelines

? Sales order processing both in-store and over the phone

? Being responsible for processing payments and trade sign ups

The successful Trade Sales Manager will possess the following key skills:
