Leader of Science - The ACE Academy, Tipton
The ACE Academy, Tipton
Leader of Science
MPS/UPS + TLR 1.1 (£7,622)
Required for April or September 2017
The ACE Academy is a rapidly improving 11-18 Academy with a new Executive Headteacher, Mr Gary Hill. The new Executive Headteacher, and senior leadership team, are seeking inspirational, professional and dynamic teachers to build upon our strengths and take the academy forward on the next stage of our journey.
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Leader of Science to join our innovative team from Easter 2017 (or sooner if possible). We are looking for an exuberant, enthusiastic and highly skilled professional to teach our students in a department that has achieved substantial improvement in the last year, at both GCSE and A Level. The successful candidate will be joining a vibrant learning community that will offer fantastic opportunities for professional development and will fully prepare the successful candidate for the next step in their career.
Our sponsors, the Wolverhampton University and the academy make no apology for placing a high priority on excellent behaviour, attendance, respect, self-discipline and highest standards of uniform as an expected norm. As part of the Education Central Multi Academy Trust, all staff at The ACE Academy benefit from thorough and professional development. CPD is bespoke and supports and enhances the career of colleagues at every stage of their teaching career and clear pathways to leadership are available from day one.
We believe that if a job is worth doing, it is worth doing well. The reward of seeing our young people engaged, enjoying and successful in their learning, complimented by involvement in sports, art, culture and other wider curricular endeavours, far outweighs the relentless efforts that we put into our everyday duties.
If you are willing to go the extra mile and share our ambition to provide an outstanding education to fantastic children, then we would welcome your application.
Informal visits to the academy are warmly welcomed and encouraged. Gary Hill would be delighted to show you around the school personally.
