Business Development Manager

Location: Bristol / Bath - South West England

Salary: £30,000 per annum plus commission

Our client is an exciting family run business based in Bristol who have produced the delectable MezzeSoul, a New and Innovative pomegranate sauce brand. MezzeSoul aims to bring the heat, warmth and soul of the Mediterranean cuisine to the UK, a delicious range of versatile and distinct sauces based on fresh pomegranate juice.

Job role of the Business Development Manager

The New Business Sales Manager is principally responsible for the acquisition of new business. Supporting this key function is maximising sales to existing customers and identifying opportunities across various food channels including farm shops, delis, health food stores, garden centres. The New Business Sales Manager will be required to gather feedback on market insight, reporting back to the board in order to continue growth proactively.

Requirements of the Business Development Manager

  • FMCG Food or Drink Sales Experience
  • Demonstrable track record of new business development
  • A demonstrable track record in successful relationship management and account growth
  • JBP and NPD exposure
  • Ideally with experience promoting a new product to market
  • Target-driven, self-motivated, tenacious, professional
  • An effective influencer at all levels
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Clean Driving Licence
  • Preferably based in the South West of England, but location is open
