New Business Development Manager
Corporate Accounts, North West Region

We specialise in providing workplace and business supplies globally across all business sectors and are one of the market leaders in our field. An opportunity is available for a New Business Development Manager to join us, as part of our Corporate Sales Division. The new business target area for the role will be across the North West region. Basic salary up to £39,000 (DOE) + 52k OTE + car, private healthcare and corporate benefits.

The roles main focus will be to target and win profitable corporate level businesses accounts. Full responsibility for the new business sales cycle, which includes effective management of a new business pipeline to securing new account wins.

You will be expected to meet sales targets and objectives by building added value relationships with key business contacts at Buyer level and above to successfully secure new account wins.

We are looking for an ambitious and driven individual who understands the importance of exceeding customer expectations. A talented sales person who knows what it takes to deliver an exceptional service with a solid track record in B2B new business sales.

You will be pro-active in nature and will be looking to meet and exceed new business targets, to contribute towards the company’s objectives and further your career within a rewarding and challenging corporate environment.

Other key tasks/responsibilities include;

  • Identifying and targeting relevant business accounts across within the Corporate Accounts remit.
  • Responsible for all stages of contract negotiations, working with relevant frameworks, tender processes and e-auctions.
  • To develop pricing & technical strategies, which will gain competitive advantage and deliver high new business activity and conversion results.
  • Specific focus on all administrative tasks, ensuring all information is correct and reported efficiently.
  • Working alongside existing business colleagues with new business proposals, where relevant.
