Key Purpose of Job :

To sell the full range of BT products & services in accordance with the agreed targets.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Achieve sales targets in all agreed target areas
  • Answer inbound and make outbound calls to the customer base with the aim of selling to hit Gross Margin and Key target areas
  • Sell the full range of BT’s products and services keeping informed on any changes to BT’s product and services portfolio and pricing therein.
  • Build strong customer relationships
  • Proactively contact the customer base and promote BT’s products and services to the customer base - Achieve the minimum call volume standard
  • Create leads for other elements of the business & BT specialist’s
  • Ensure a positive customer experience is achieved in all our dealings with the customer base
  • Manage customer expectation in terms of delivery, installation and billing to ensure our commitment to the customer
  • Be familiar with the ordering processes to ensure the customer’s order is dealt with efficiently and right first time with no order discrepancy failures.
  • Take responsibility to acquire a wider knowledge of the portfolio, being able to promote and sell 'complex’ sales solutions.
  • Work such hours as are required to meet the responsibilities of your role and to maintain the service necessary to meet our customers’ needs

Mandatory Requirement of the Job Holder -

  • The post holder will understand the regulatory, fair trading and competition rules relating to their work sufficiently to be able to comply with them, relying on their ability to recognise that they need specialist advice

  • Proficient in any systems required e.g. SalesForce, Oneview etc.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Flexible approach to meet the business requirements
  • Display a sound knowledge , understanding and empathy of a customer’s business and own problems until fully resolved
