An international organisation with a site in Solihull are looking for a Procurement Manager to implement category strategy and lead from the front. This organisation have luxurious offices and are a fantastic company to add to your working profile.
Your new role
As the Procurement Manager you responsibilities will include investigating markets, identifying suppliers, preparing sourcing strategies, managing the selection of suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring value for the organisation across the life-cycle of the supplier contracts. You will be responsible for rolling out best practice contract management to ensure continued focus on supplier relationship management, performance management and continuous improvement. You will also play a critical role in the implementation and embedding of the procurement strategy across HR | FM | IT | Services | Consultancy.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for the role you must be MCIPS or have an equivalent degree level qualification.
Experience of managing/supervising others and demonstrable broad indirect sourcing and supplier management experience preference.. Direct experience of the following will be advantageous - large scale corporate travel, recruitment, events, strong knowledge of constructing high quality supplier contracts is essential.
