North West/S Yorks

THE COMPANY: My client is the cutting tools division of a true, global manufacturing giant whose name is instantly recognisable by all. They supply innovative tool solutions for the die and mould making industry and offer an extensive range of state of the art precision tools, including bespoke solutions, with the highest performance level ratings. They are also acknowledged innovators in the development of new technologies and products within a high-speed machining environment. On the back of more efficient machining methods and reductions in process times, the client enjoys a loyal and committed customer base.

THE ROLE: Through outstanding applications expertise and ever closer relationships with its customers the client wishes to expand its operations in the North West, South Yorks area. After extensive and in-depth product training you will assist existing customers in raising efficiency levels as well as seek new customers through trials and appointments on an on-going, medium to long term basis. Their default strategy to ensure steady, long term growth, which has succeeded for over 30 years, is to do things well and correctly. You will work from home covering a 100-mile radius from where you live and report in to the European Sales Manager

THE PERSON: You will be a time served Engineer with current and in depth knowledge of cutting tools gained in a hands-on environment who has then progressed in to field sales with either another manufacturer or distributor

THE REWARDS: As well as a very good basic you will access an open-ended bonus/commission scheme which can add another 20 - 30% to your basic salary. There is a fully expensed company car and the usual range of pension and healthcare benefits you would expect form a major multi-national organisation. All you would need to work form home will be provided.

The major benefit though is to be joining a prestigious, modern and forward thinking organisation who can meet your medium to long term career aspirations.
