Due to a new site starting in February 2016, a new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a reputable and well established social housing building contractor and developer in the North West.
This is a brand new site in planning and is due to start in March 2017; it will be based in Manchester and will consist of 65 units from 2, 3 and 4 bed houses.
Reporting to a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the operational delivery from out of the ground through to completion. You will be required to work to a strict build programme whilst maintaining the highest possible standards of health and safety and build quality. You will be responsible for the coordination and man management of various subcontractors and attend client progress meetings until handover.

Ideally you will have a proven track record in the site management of design and build social housing with either a building contractor or residential developer.
You could either come from a trade background and have worked your way up the ranks into a managerial role or alternatively have come from an academic background with either a HNC or Degree in Construction Management or similar discipline. You must hold a relevant CSCS card, SMSTS and First Aid Certificate.
