Churchill Howard are working to recruit a Finance Manager for a rare opportunity to join an iconic brand within the sports, leisure and hospitality industry. It's a fast paced environment - you'll be working 'on site' at some of the UK's most prestigious venues. You'll be taking lead on both financial and operational processes - as such you'll be managing a large number of stakeholder relationships across the business - it's imperative you are a natural relationship builder and can communicate with and influence both financial and non-financial stakeholders at all levels.

Key responsibilities:

  • Management reporting including flash reporting, monthly analysis and commentary
  • Support decision making across the business through the provision of trend analysis
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensure effective financial and operational controls and processes are in place
  • Management of the remote accounting staff and their outputs

There will be 2-3 days per week when you're out of the office at site locations - some of the best and most highly regarded in the industry - so you'll need to have the ability to travel within working hours. In addition, you'll be managing your own diary so self direction is also important.

You need to be a fully qualified accountant with the ability to communicate effectively and partner with operational managers. You need a decent technical skillset and a passion for delivering excellence.
