Registered Manager for Residential Service
We are currently recruiting for a client who is looking for a Registered Manager to manage their brand new service for adults with challenging behaviour in the Tameside area.
The home will cater for 5 adults aged 19-37 with Learning Disabilities, in particular for individuals with autism and challenging behaviour.
It is an exciting chance for the successful candidate to make the home their own as you will be working towards it before it opens, getting to know the residents who are due to move in, hiring your own team and choosing how the home will be decorated.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
-Taking full responsibility of running the home.
-Ensuring that the company's policies and procedures are fully and consistently implemented.
-Recruiting and training of staff in order to develop the workforce to meet requirements.
-Ensuring that care plans are being effectively communicated to care workers and that workers understand their responsibilities and duties.
-Taking effective action to address areas of dissatisfaction or poor performance.
- Must have had at least two years of experience as a Manager in a care setting.
- Must have had prior experience of working with adults with Learning Disabilities or be willing to upskill their knowledge surrounding this.
-The chosen candidate will be the Registered Manager for this service so confidence to pass the CQC interviews is essential.
-Must have a L4 qualification or equivalent.
-Must show leadership potential and be patient and personable.
-A Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle is essential for thisposition
