A worldwide industrial distributor is looking for a Product Information Manager to join their expanding team.

About the Product Information Manager role:

*Responsible for managing the enterprise Product Information Management (PIM) and integrated Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform for the business.
*Serves as the liaison between the Product and Marketing departments and Supply Chain departments, in the collection, maintenance and use of product and supplier information managed in the PIM.
*Provide leadership, direction, and project management to ensure successful delivery and operations.
*Lead the implementation of ETIM - a worldwide uniform classification for technical products
*Defines and documents data needs and outputs required of the PIM and works closely with internal teams and product vendors to develop processes & workflow to meet requirements.
*Coordinates projects related to data enrichment, data cleansing and process improvement by defining and managing project scope, deliverables, resources required, and timelines.
*Manages and documents data attributes, taxonomy, hierarchy, workflow and procedures in the PIM.
*Audits and monitors adherence to standards and takes corrective action as necessary.
*Creation of bespoke customer catalogues and their management on eProcurement platforms
*The integration and implementation of incoming and outgoing data feeds, data governance, and system administration.
*Creation, business alignment and delivery of PIM roadmap.
*Identify, develop, and integrate business processes related to PIM & DAM into the overall digital customer experience strategy.

About you as Product Information Manager

*Experienced in architecting solutions in Product Information Management and/or Digital Asset Management space
*Electrical/MRO industry product knowledge (ideal)
*Experience with data transformation, mapping and configuration
*Vendor management
*Strong proficiency in Excel, Access and other Microsoft Office products.
*Team management experience
