Food & Beverage Manager - Front of House - 4* Hotel - £28K- Interviewing Now!
Food & Beverage Manager is required to join a 4* independent country house hotel & spa in the Southampton area. This hotel has two bars and two restaurant facilities as well as conference space and holds 1 AA rosette.
This role will suit an experienced Food and Beverage Manager who has managed a single hotel with multiple bars and restaurants and who has a proactive and hands on approach managing the facilities and staff.
The Food & Beverage Manager will report to the MD owner and be responsible for the smooth running of all the food and beverage outlets, including, restaurant, hotel bars, and extensive conference and banqueting facilities.
Employee supervision - ensuring all front of house employees offer a consistently high level of customer service and up selling where necessary and generally being proactive
Training and mentoring 25 members of staff and developing your front of house team to provide best service possible to all customers/clients
Maintaining levels of stock, food and liquor to ensure smooth running of events and not facing an 'out of stock' situation
Ensure sales and KPI targets are met and exceeded in regards to bar and restaurant turnover
You will be managing and overseeing banquets, weddings and conferencing events to ensure a smooth running operation
Managing and handling customer enquires and complaints swiftly to satisfactory resolution
You will manage rotas of staff and development of your new team
The Food and Beverage Manager will be proactive and come up with marketing and sales initiatives - such as promotions, events and ways to encourage sales for the business as a whole
To £28,000 salary + Bonus scheme on achieving turnover targets

Must have experience in a similar Food and Beverage Manager role within the hotel industry
Capable of delivering high levels of customer service
Hands on manager leading by example
Must have a commercial mind and be proactive to drive sales forward
