Business Development Manager (Training) - c.£40k to £50k + uncapped com - London

This role is to accelerate revenue growth in line with the overall business strategy and ensure a sophisticated key account sales approach. The Business Development Manager will have full responsibility for a selling In- House Training solutions to our Global customers and will work directly with the regional Heads of sales and the Strategic Accounts Head of sales.

They will work with both existing customers and a number of development accounts, to fully understand their strategic training needs and deliver high value propositions. They will be responsible for year on year revenue growth, fully realising all revenue growth opportunities and will report into the Head of Sales.


 Job Description:

• Deliver high level key account planning and execution of a designated group of global customers (existing and development accounts)

• Build and demonstrate deep relationships with the most senior decision makers and influencers to truly understand their businesses and challenges

• Develop strategic account plans for each of the existing and development accounts, setting strategies and timescales for action and review

• Be ‘the face’ of the market, seen as authoritative with strong networks of senior contacts

• Create sophisticated and innovative high value propositions to deliver on customers’ objectives

• Develop a deep understanding of market dynamics, our competitive position and add valuable insight to customers

• Plan and execute sales trips at least once per month, in line with the key account plans. Appointments to take place at customers’ own offices, with the most senior decision makers and influencers

• Develop new revenue streams and opportunities, in partnership with Head of Sales

• Work with the overall Training team to deliver on the department growth strategy

• Adhere to sales performance metrics and accurate forecasting

• Create solutions to close any predicted revenue shortfalls
