Description

We are seeking motivated self-starters who want to launch or accelerate their sales career and strive to exceed expectations and be the number one representative. We offer a competitive compensation package of base pay plus quarterly commission with no cap on potential commission.

Join the team as a Business Development Representative and be the first point of contact and engage in executive-level conversations. You will discuss business needs and pitch how the software can drive a positive impact to the Executive's organisation. Successful candidates will foster relationships and work to engage potential customers and generate a pipeline of revenue.

You will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads to drive the organisations profitability. Working closely with the sales team, this position identifies target accounts, responds to initial inquiries, qualifies prospects, facilitates the early stages of the sales cycle and articulates the value of the proposition for marketing events and throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities:

- Create a pipeline of sales qualified leads through research and outreach of executive-level contacts in the assigned territory

- Contact by phone or email lead inquiries or prospects who attended seminars/webinars to qualify potential customers and set up meeting with Account Executives

- Expertly qualify inbound inquiries to determine viability of prospect by uncovering business need, budget, stakeholders and timeline

- Closely partner with sales leadership and marketing to deliver targeted marketing messages with precision and knowledge that is aligned with sales and marketing objectives

- Consistently log activities and keep Salesforce updated with pertinent information about the organization and dialogue from client conversations

- Proactive and resourceful in finding and uncovering decision makers in organizations

Profile

The requirements of the Business Development Representative:

- 2+ year of outbound (smart calling - high volume and high quality) and inbound of phone sales experience
- Master's degree educated
- Ability to articulate meaningful, clear and concise conversations with executive-level and above in the mid-enterprise and corporate markets

- Ability to communicate a strong pitch which grabs attention and creates the 'hook' for a continued conversation through sales/pre-sales teams

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

- Disciplined attitude and accountability

- Strong computer literacy (office and business tools)

- Degree educated

- Additional European language - German (preferred but not a prerequisite)
