What are they looking for? Do you want to do the below?
- As with any sales / account manager role you will have set targets and KPI's so coming from a background where you can show off how much you have exceeded these by and how you went over and above to explore additional revenues from existing accounts is a must!
- Someone who has sold in the events / sponsorship / conference / summits.
- Be great if you have touched on print and digital sales too.
- Account management is an obvious given!
- You also need to be happy to bring on new business - this will be about 40% of your role
- Support the Commercial Director as and when they need you.
- Speak to your clients on the phone as well as going to see them face to face
- Keep your pipeline up to date so you can see where your revenues are coming from
- Be the face of the brand!
