Junior Product Owner
Up to £45,000 p/a

My client in the Marketing sector is looking for a Junior Product Owner that has previous experience working in product management / business analysis or project management. You will ideally have previous experience working alongside engineering teams in an agile / scrum environment and will need to be methodological and analytical in your approach while also having experience with SaaS.

This role will sit in the product team so you will have the support of experts around you to bring new products to life. With some big companies using this product such as Innocent, Wagamama and Tetley this is a great company to join to improve your product skills.

This role will be helping the product team on the vision, strategy and execution of the products, you will be defining the roadmap and working with the engineering team through the full SDLC. You will build partnerships with users right through to stakeholders so will need to be confident leading customer focused projects across the company and carrying out user research to best align the product with findings.

You will help lead the vision, strategy and execution of the products as well as developing a deep understanding of how those products are built and precisely what customers need from them.

You will be improving the capability of the product and will be the Product Owner for the company's partner products.

The main elements to the role are: managing and planning product releases, defining user stories, communicating across multidisciplinary teams to bring the product in line with the business vision, coordinate design collaboratively as well as carrying out sprint planning.

In terms of the experience they are looking for; you will need to have 3 years experience in product management, business analysis or project management positions. Be able to communicate and facilitate clearly and concisely to stakeholders. Be confident presenting to big groups of people. Be committed to change and solving complex problems. Be comfortable making data focused decisions and have experience in SaaS. You will ideally also have some digital marketing knowledge.
