Our client, an award winning Tier One contractor is looking for a Bid Writer to join their expanding team in central London. The role will focus primarily on project management bids and cost planning so experience of this sector is desirable but not essential. The Bid Writer is a pivotal role and will communicate with a number of departments including marketing, comms and PR.
Management and being a mentor for those in the team are key aspects of the role. You will lead storyboarding, and take a pro-active role in the writing of CVs/project profiles and interviewing subject matter experts.
You will be extremely organised in capturing all the new content from a bid, recording and sharing lessons learnt. Additionally, key skills required for the role include a high level of English, editing with the creative ability to write compellingly. You will have been in the bidding world for eight to ten years and looking to further your career.
