Business Development Manager
Help C-Level Marketing, PR & IR Directors get more value from their MarComms business strategy. This client is currently seeking Business Development Specialists to be a part of an exciting new European growth phase. The client is a leading innovator in marketing technology solutions. They enable C-level executives in FTSE 250 size companies to manage and distribute digital brand content from a single, easy to use, interface.
The Business Development Manager will be tasked with networking and acquiring new clients within a designated geographical territory. In most cases there is already a small percentage (circa 20%) of existing accounts that need further expansion providing you with some reference sites.
Working closely with the lead generation team at head office and customer success managers you would be taking the lead on the larger deals from initial contact to closing and then handover of the account to the designated Account Management team.
You already have excellent presentation and communication skills acquired in your current / previous corporate solution sales background, ideally from a sales or business development role in marketing technology solutions or PR technology or IR technology. You have a track record of exceeding revenue targets and strong influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders to achieve team and customer objectives.
On offer is an attractive basic salary and uncapped bonus scheme. Based from the EMEA HQ in London the role will require you to travel to clients in your territory and will offer autonomy in how you work to achieve your targets. Pre IPO shares and career development is offered.
