Job description:

The VP of engineering manages all aspects of the company’s development and quality assurance. The role requires someone with

-Minimum 3 years in a lead role or management position.

-Strong analytical skills

-Degree educated.

-Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills a must.

-Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner.

-Must have a desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability.

-Strong understanding of different software development life cycles (Agile) and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automated tools.

-Must have experience in managing and working with distributed team members.

-Knowledge of internet and e-business processes, disciplines and standards.

-Must be extremely detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication.

Technical experience of the following:

-Java: Java SE, Java EE, Spring, Hibernate, JUnit, Mockito, JBehave, Spark, Tomcat, netty, Jersey, SOAP, Maven, Gradle

-Patterns: OOAD, “Gang of Four” patterns, Microservices patterns, MVC, REST, BASE



-Javascript:AngularJS, ReactJS, jQuery, Grunt, Bower, Gulp, npm

-Queues:AWS SNS, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ

-Python:Tornado, Django

-DevOps:Chef, Docker, Vagrant, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar

-AWS:EC2, S3, CloudFront, OpsWorks, SQS, SNS, SES, Elastic Beanstalk, Glacier,

-Route 53, CodeDeploy, CloudWatch

-Linux/Unix:Debian/RHEL Administration, Shell scripting
