Transfer Pricing Finance Business Partner (AVP)

Treasury is a varied Function and can be considered a business in its own right with a purpose to balance the supply and demand of money and capital to create sustainable value. Treasury consists of non-execution disciplines managing the capital, funding, liquidity and banking book interest rate risk position of the Group and execution disciplines accessing the markets to raise funding and invest the liquidity buffer.

Treasury Finance consists of a number of teams, including Product Control, Financial Control, Hedge Accounting, Capital Reporting, BP&A and Forecasting providing a full finance service to Treasury.

Overall purpose of role:

  • Supervise the production of monthly Treasury transfer pricing statements for actuals reporting
  • Produce and present forecasts of Treasury transfer pricing for RAF/MTP and internal/external stress tests
  • Build and maintain Group-wide relationships across Clusters with regards to transfer pricing for actuals, MTP and stress tests
  • Provide ad hoc analysis on Treasury results
Key Accountabilities and Skills required:

Co-ordination and management of Treasury's cluster statements process, including:

  • Supervision and presentation of Treasury's results to Treasury CFO and other senior management within Treasury
  • Build and maintain relationships with key contacts in all clusters throughout the Group and Treasury Transfer Pricing teams
  • Act as relationship manager and central contact for cluster statement related queries across the Group
  • Carry out qualitative and quantitative performance analysis on the forecast
  • Develop and expand existing MI to provide meaningful explains on Transfer Pricing movements
  • Own and improve cluster statement data models to ensure a smooth and efficient process
  • Management of the cluster statement process for both MTP submissions and internal/ external stress testing
  • Structural reform considerations
  • Maintains the forecast data repository for Treasury - this is key for having data readily available for both ad-hoc and periodic MI tasks
  • Own and be responsible for queries raised on all output/deliverables
  • Support ad-hoc requests from senior management/group teams ensuring that we meet high standards to provide a timely response to all queries
  • Ensure strong process is in place with strong control environment, adhered timeline in order to deliver accurate information in a timely manner and to the highest standards, allowing time for review by line manager and finance management
  • Provide input into requirements for Treasury reporting system

Essential:

  • Qualified Accountant

Preferred:

  • Proven experience in Treasury and/or BP&A
  • Strong (2:1) university degree or equivalent
  • Financial modelling and analysis expertise
  • Big 4/Management Consultancy Background
  • Knowledge of performance management technique
  • Practical and technical knowledge of strategic planning tools/techniques
