Job Description
An excellent full time opportunity has arisen to join a leading South London based college as an Academic Administrator for the research department.

This Academic Administrator post plays a key role in the efficient and effective operation of the colleges research and postgraduate research administration. The role will support research degree staff and students, coordinate the colleges research repository and research partnership MOUs and support administration on research funding/grant applications/bid spotting, including coordinating documentation for project implementation (e.g. project plans and budgets) and dissemination requirements as well as other research activities (e.g. internal conferences, symposia and seminars). The Academic Administrator (Research) will also take responsibility for postgraduate course administration and in this context work collaboratively with other academic administrators to support their roles at pressure points.

Job Requirements
In order to be considered for this position you must have recent previous experience of working within an administrative support post in the HE or FE sector.

The Package
This is a full time permanent position working 35 hours per week to start ASAP - the salary is £20,063 per annum plus competitive benefits.
