This company is looking for a Reception & Admin Assistant to undertake a range of reception and administrative duties for the company and sister companies at their head office in Kendal.

The family owned company operates two popular heritage visitor attractions, five holiday parks, a number of retail and catering outlets and a portfolio of residential lettings and self-catering holiday properties, all within the Lake District National Park.


- To provide a welcoming and effective reception service at the Company's head office in Kendal. This will involve meeting and greeting customers and contractors in person and assisting with their enquiries. This post will also be the first point of contact for incoming telephone and email enquiries which require professional, enthusiastic and effective handling.
- To fulfil a range of general office administrative duties including incoming/outgoing post, office diary organisation, facility booking (vehicles/meeting room), distribution of rotas, monitoring and ordering stationery and consumables.
- To fulfil a range of administrative duties pertaining to Human Resources including recruitment advertising and the organisation of personnel files, correspondence, contracts and annual leave records.
- To provide support to the property department including liaising with tenants and contractors, logging of maintenance issues, general correspondence, tenant referencing, management of rents and deposits, updating CRM systems, updating the website using simple CMS, updating files, and maintaining records.
- To provide basic PA support to key senior management positions
- At all times to work in a safe manner, raising any health and safety concerns immediately with your line manager. Also to be aware at all times of the health and safety of their customers and any other persons on site.

The Reception and Administrative Assistant will be enthusiastic and proactive with the ability to work both autonomously and part of a small team. They must be professional, have exceptional written and oral communication skills, be proficient in all Microsoft Office software and be committed to an excellent provision of customer service.

Leave Entitlement:
28 days inclusive of bank holidays with 1 additional day on completion of 5 years continuous service.
