Implementation Lead - LEAN - City of London - Perm - £60k-£70k Per Annum plus bonus and benefits.

The Company
An experienced Implementation Lead with previous experienced of implementing lean ways is required by a Financial Services company. This is a 12 month FTC.
The company are currently undergoing some major changes and they are seeking an experienced candidate to come on board to contribute to these changes.

The Role
This role is responsible for leading projects designed to improve ways of working across the end to end claims operations at the company and their partners. It will primarily focus on rolling out the Achieving Excellence (ACE) methodology of lean working across the Operational areas and then ensuring sustainability - that teams continue to use the tools and techniques and benefits continue to be realisable. The role will work both at the site in London and onsite at our partner sites.

Responsibilities

Project Implementation
You will lead rollout of ACE methodology to deliver financial benefits:
-Scope out new areas of work to set the objectives for a roll out working with leaders to design the implementation and identify key areas of benefit
-Engage with team members and leaders to build pre-start support and understanding
-Conduct VSM sessions to map out existing and to-be processes
-Build new KPI suite and liaise with MI team to ensure KPIs can be delivered daily
-Design and roll out huddles in teams to allow daily view of performance
-Lead and train leaders to run problem solving sessions (3Cs, Root Cause Problem Solving sessions) in order to build a culture of continuous improvement
-Design and implement a system of Work Place Audit to ensure process adherence to the ACE methodology
-Document Standard Work and Single Point Lessons to enable handlers to have clarity on how to complete tasks
-Liaise with, and report to, Operational Excellence Workstream Lead and OPP Programme Manager on planning, progress, costs and resources

Sustainability
-Design and implement a system of measurement to allow the Executive Team to know that the ACE methodology is being sustained
-Deliver ongoing training and coaching to leaders to assist them with the methods
-Ensure ongoing delivery of benefits from in scope areas
-Set up a network of experts to allow future rollouts (eg support functions) to be implemented at low cost using internal resources

Experienced Required
*Previous experience of implementing lean ways of working across multiple operational functions
*Good working knowledge of how to implement revised KPIs, Huddles, Problem Solving, Standard Work and Work Place audits as the core tools for lean working.
*Knowledge of how to realise benefits as a result of process improvement - design of benefit baselines, monitoring routines.
*Ability to coach Leaders/Managers/Directors in the application of lean methods to improve performance
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating confidence with junior and senior stakeholders
*A proven ability to implement continuous improvement of business processes.
*Proficient in data analysis to identify root causes of business problems and to propose appropriate solutions.
*Experienced in conducting stage gate reviews or other project assurance activities
*Able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail in the production of deliverables.
*Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities to ensure that stakeholder requirements are met.
*A positive, proactive attitude to task completion.
*Able to be flexible and adapt quickly to changing circumstances and requirements.
