Over the last decade, Carte Blanche has expanded beyond its core greeting card and gifts business to embrace new sectors such as toy and digital. Our brands have been licensed worldwide with phenomenal success - over 75 million Me to You plush bears sold since 2000 - and now we operate across many new and exciting product categories including apparel, confectionery and homeware. With the unique and instantly recognisable Tatty Teddy & His Blue Nosed Friends, our most recognised and much loved brand, as well as Moshi Monsters, Violent Veg, we are enjoying an excellent period of growth and development and now looking to step change our focus with Independent retailers.
This role is all about the customer. As we continue to change as a business, we need people who are not only driven, enthusiastic and passionate about us and our products, but who are also highly customer focused and able to act as Business Managers to their accounts. Using live sales data, you will manage c.80 existing independent retail accounts and focus on developing their business via mutual growth plans. The role draws on a whole host of your skills and abilities in working with the retailer - sales, account management, new business, creative merchandising.
You will need to be a well organised and capable graduate looking to develop your career in a field based, customer focused role. You will have worked in retail through university or since graduating, ideally in a Section/Team Leader or Assistant/Store Manager role, but your experience in store will help you immensely in the role in terms of understanding the customers needs and pressures. The talent to foster close working relationships with customers is vitally important as we work closely with our independent retailers and hugely value their business.
