JOB TITLE: Modern Foreign Languages Teacher

SALARY: £22,023- £37,496 for Permanent Modern Foreign Languages Contracts. £130 - £160 per day for a Long-Term Supply Position

The successful Modern Foreign Languages Teacher will be joining a vibrant Secondary School which has made tremendous progress since converting to Academy status in 2014. Our client school aims to provide a 21st century education to its pupils and regularly reviews its curriculum to ensure that they are giving their pupils the most appropriate qualifications to be successful. You will be joining a school that offers a wide range of enrichment clubs and opportunities to encourage students to enrich their knowledge, improve their skills, and to enhance their understanding of their regular school day academic learning.

THE ROLE - MODERN FOREIGN LANGUAGES TEACHER
As a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher at this high-achieving school you will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 4 French as well as Key stage 3 Spanish and German. The successful Modern Foreign Languages Teacher will be required to plan and deliver engaging and challenging Modern Foreign Languages lessons that captivate the attention of the high-achieving and well behaved students at the school.
The Modern Foreign Languages department is staffed by a dedicated team of well-qualified and specialist teachers.
The Head of Department has overall responsibility for all key stages and for the vision and ethos of the department, for curriculum development and staff development needs.
The Modern Foreign Languages department offer a range of extra-curricular activities, including lunchtime and after school Performing Arts clubs and a range of Modern Foreign Languages workshops.

TEACHER SPECIFICATION
The Education Network is looking for Modern Foreign Languages Teachers who hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS or who are currently completing their Initial Teacher Training within a Modern Foreign Languages based discipline. This position is open to Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT) or experienced Modern Foreign Languages teachers. You will be a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher with a proven track record of raising attainment levels across the 11-16 age range. Your subject knowledge for Modern Foreign Languages will be extremely strong and you will have the ability to stretch academically gifted students. You will be a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher with a positive outlook, a dedicated and hard-working attitude and someone who is happy to get involved with extra-curricular activities at the school.
