SharePoint Developer required by a leading insurance organisation located in London. Reporting to the Head of Business Systems the SharePoint developer will play a key role in enabling the business to provide a better service to its customers.

Required skills

  • Worked with MS SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online (3-4 years' experience)
  • Strong knowledge of standard functionalities within SharePoint to build SharePoint lists, document libraries, sites, form libraries, workflows, customize style sheets, web parts, timer jobs, event handlers, custom forms, and site collections
  • Demonstrable experience of configuring SharePoint Search
  • Demonstrable experience of designing and configuring SharePoint Security Models
  • Professional standards-based web development using ASP.NET, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3 and JavaScript

Core responsibilities

  • Developing software solutions using program code, modifying existing systems or product configuration to meet requirements
  • Gathering requirements and defining technical solutions.
  • Reviewing current systems and problems
  • Recommending ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals and benefits.
  • Working closely with Business Analysts, Technical Architects, Quality Assurance team
  • Producing detailed specifications
  • Unit test programs in controlled, realistic situations before handing over to Quality Assurance team at the agreed standard.
