An exciting oppourtunity to work with a national provider of residential services for adults with learning disabilities has arisen in the Dorking area, for a manager to join this 7 bedroomed specialist residential service for adults with learning disabilities.
Your role involves taking overall responsibility for all aspects of the running of the home. To ensure the staff team enable the service users to lead a valued and fulfilling life and to maximise the potential capacity of all service users, physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. To develop new initiatives in care practices and the overall delivery of a quality service, whilst working in accordance with the organisations philosophy of care, it's Policies and Procedures and all relevant legislation.
You must have previous managerial experience in a similar learning disability setting and have working knowledge of autism and relevant CQC regulations and procedures.
You will either have, or be working towards, your Diploma Level 5 in Health and Social Care, and will ideally have some experience promoting and using total communication.

All staff are offered 28 days annual leave, rising to 30 days after 1 year, with an option to buy up to 5 days additional holiday per year (annual leave and additional holiday are prorated for part time staff).
