A global medium-sized business that has been operating for forty years is looking for a bright and motivated (Senior) IT Support Engineer (1st - 3rd line) to oversee the small IT team based in the Leatherhead area, Surrey.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of the infrastructure and ensuring the IT requirements of the business are met as well as supervising the IT Support Engineer. Duties will include 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support of all systems including hardware, software, network and large business applications such as CRM and MRP.

In order to be suitable for this position you will have experience working in a Windows Systems Administrator, IT Support Engineer, Standalone IT Manager or similar role with proven 1st - 3rd line technical support experience. It is essential to have. It is essential to have broad technical knowledge including VMWare (ESXi 5.5), networking (protocols / routers / switches), firewalls (Checkoint), server hardware (Windows 2012), Windows 7 and 8, Active Directory and Office 365. The ideal candidate will also have some experience of supervising, team leading, managing IT staff and ideally with exposure to an ERP/ MRP solution.

This is an excellent opportunity that would suit determined and motivated candidates. This (Senior) IT Support Engineer (1st - 3rd line) role is paying a basic salary of £30,000 - £35,000 pro rata plus benefits including bonus, pension and 25 days annual leave.
