2nd Line Support / IT Infrastructure

Job profile

Joining a nationally recognised IT function providing 2nd line technical support to all aspects of the business. Providing technical escalation paths, expertise and guidance to the IT service desk team and the wider business.

Responsibilities

  • Installation, Configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of desktops/laptops, telephony equipment, software, mobile devices and peripheral devices.
  • Involvement and responsibility to contribute in multiple complex IT projects, as allocated by the Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist.
  • Logically, efficiently and accurately resolve problems and take appropriate action.
  • Liaise with other team members, employees, third party suppliers and support organisations as necessary.

Experience required

  • Basic network troubleshooting and have a good knowledge of Windows Desktop Technology to include Windows 7 & 10 and Office 2010 / Office 365.
  • Experience of Windows Server 2012 R2 / 2016, Active Directory, Configuration Management Technologies (SCCM/KACE) and IP Telephony.
  • Experience of VMWare 5.5 and Citrix 7.6.
  • ITIL foundation level certification.

Remuneration

Starting base salary of up to £35,000 per annum.

Annual bonus of 10%.
