For the right candidate a great opportunity exists to join a company early in its life cycle and be a vital part of its growth. This event technology company provide apps, RFID/NFC solutions to the conference and exhibitions industry. Their product is agile enough that it is a SaaS or managed service depending on the scale of their clients' project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying and closing deals along with developing and delivering new and profitable new revenue streams. Working very closely with the company MD, your knowledge of the events industry will enable you to collaborate ideas with the team to further promote company growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to incoming sales enquiries with relevant information utilising our consultative approach to selling our product
* Manage own sales pipeline based on established sales strategy from prospecting to closing
* Gain a strong understanding of client's needs, and ability to communicate solution values of products and services
* Attend weekly sales meetings with managing director to plan and discuss sales activities/targets
* Schedule product demos and sales pitches for qualified leads using a consultative selling approach
* Work alongside managing director to develop and evolve sales strategy on quarterly basis

Key Skills

* 2 -3 years relevant experience in SaaS software sales using complex consultative sales approach
* Excited about working in a fast paced, high growth start up environment
* Passionate and knowledgeable about the use of technology at events (or happy to learn!)
* Proven track record in software sales with demonstrable revenue targets
* Experience working with CRM systems and preparing performance reports
* Expert user of Word, Excel & PowerPoint
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate the core value proposition associated with our product
* Must be a self starter and relentlessly tech savvy - highly motivated and professional
