Waterfall Catering Group is a contract catering subsidiary of Elior UK specialising in food services to the Care and Education markets through its brands Caterplus and Taylor Shaw.  We are seeking a full time Dietitian to support our rapidly expanding and increasingly complex business on a national basis and working directly with our operating business team to ensure the delivery of comprehensive nutrition and dietetic services at over 800 sites across the company.
The position provides an excellent opportunity for you to work within industry where your nutrition and dietetic expertise is crucial for the successful delivery of the wider foodservice business, and the nutrition services. 
As head of our nutrition and dietetics team you will be responsible for managing the activities of our three regional nutritionists and co-ordinating their workloads to ensure the business goals are met.
You will have exceptional communication and IT skills and an ability to prioritise activities and manage expectations. You will be a key member of a small, dynamic nutrition team. The role will involve planning and administering nutrition and dietetic activities, using your technical skill set and working with wider teams to ensure evidence based practise runs in conjunction with the best commercial outcomes.

Knowledge, Skills and Personal Qualities
• A highly driven individual with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as leading a small team. 
• An ability to translate technical/nutritional information into understandable messages for the non-expert
• Able to identify, research and lead on new and innovative nutrition development opportunities that support our business strategy, create competitive advantage and make a real difference.
• Keep up to date with nutrition trends, evidence based practice and legislation and actively apply and share this with colleagues at all levels
• Support the marketing team with developing content and messages for internal and external literature.
• Support business development and operational teams with site visits, key tender submissions, presentations and events 
• Strive to continually raise the nutrition and dietary expertise in our business through training programmes
• A passion for food and nutrition and good product knowledge of food and ingredients
• An ability to quickly identify and solve problems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to prioritise a wide range of tasks, be flexible and work to tight deadlines
• Good leadership skills essential, leading from the front. 
• The drive to make a real difference through nutrition and diet
• Confident with an ability to work well with colleagues and customers at all levels

Experience and Qualifications 
• HCPC Registered Dietitian with at least 5 years’ experience within the food industry
• Experience strategically leading a nutrition service managing nutrition teams
• Familiarity with one or more nutritional analysis programme
• Experience of working within a contract catering
• Experience of working within Education and Healthcare sectors an advantage 
• Experience and knowledge of EU and UK food labelling legislation 
• Member of British Dietetic Association
• Full UK driving licence
