Our client is a busy hotel that is recruiting a Chef with experience of fine dining. You will be working with the finest, freshest ingredients to produce food of the highest standard. The Hotel has a busy functions business so you will prepare dishes for weddings, events and parties as well as the restaurant.
As the Chef de Partie, you will be working on all sections of the kitchen. You and will be required to work in an efficient manner to the high standards set by the Head Chef. You will be an excellent communicator and will need to develop and encourage the junior chefs. You will also be given responsibility for stock control and hygiene.
You will already be working as a Chef de Partie in a good quality hotel or restaurant which features fine dining with an emphasis on using fresh ingredients. 1-2 AA rosette level experience is an advantage together with a professional cookery qualification. Experience of working with high volumes covers is also an advantage as you will also need to be adequate in banqueting.
