Insurance Premium Reconciliation Assistant
An insurance background is essential for consideration in relation to this role which requires you to have a good understanding of London Market Insurance processes and procedures.
Working as part of the Operations team (not finance), you will be responsible for a range of duties to include:- Allocation of cash received to the correct policy; reconciliation and distribution of Broker statements; liaison with Brokers to ensure timely settlement of debts; Liaison with both Commercial and Specialty Underwriting Technicians to ensure accurate data on the underwriting system; updating credit control spreadsheets etc.
In addition to an insurance background, you will have a strong work ethic and be able to work to challenging deadlines - particularly at month ends. Coupled with this you will have good time management skills and be a confident (not necessarily expert) user of Excel.
