Interaction Recruitment are currently looking for a Sales Administrator based in the Peterborough area working for an award winning manufacturing firm.

The role is to fully support their Sales Directors and manage all administration and customer services for the sales office.

The ideal candidate will have an keen eye for detail, able to prioritise, strong PA/Admin skills, exceptional customer service skills and able to provide a high level of service.

The Sales Administrator is a hands-on role, organised, methodical and deadline driven. A percentage of time will be spent on ensuring all administration and reports are up to date and all in bound enquires and customer care are dealt with efficiently.

Main Duties:-

  • Building relationships with UK customers and international customers, understanding different cultures

  • Scheduling orders for production in excel and planning order shipping dates

  • Processing of sales orders and sample requests, including proformas, chasing PF payments, checking production progress and final dispatch

  • Coordinating between customers and the relevant internal departments: production, accounts, artwork, quality control and dispatch

  • Contacting existing customers and encouraging them to order and plan future requirements

  • Processing complaints and maintaining records until resolved

  • Booking in pallets and containers with shipping companies ensuring lowest prices and best service

  • Advising customers of estimated shipping dates, shipping confirmation and tracking numbers

  • Complaints KPIs

  • Producing various sales reports, daily and weekly

  • Updating pricing, sage and goldmine information as required

  • Ad-hoc projects
