Sales Manager for the Account Manager team

Working for one of the fastest growing tech companies in the UK

Based in Notting Hill in a vibrant and buzzing office

£40,000 basic + uncapped commission (OTE £70,000)

PaymentSense is an award winning, high growth tech company providing awesome accessible and affordable solutions to allow SME's to take card payments. In seven years we have grown from a start up to the largest merchant services provider in the UK.

As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for leading the Account Manager team in our newest division of PaymentSense, Connect. Connect is an integrated payment solution that we sell through Epos partnerships who share their customers with us. You will manage the team converting these leads in to Connect customers.

Candidate Profile

  • 3+ years telesales and account management experience
  • Previous experience in managing and nurturing larger accounts
  • Experience in managing a sales team (2+ years)
  • Experience in driving a team to hit targets
  • Excellent negotiating skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
  • Ability to accept and evolve with changes in policies and procedures
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability of critical thinking, using logic and reason
  • Self-motivation and ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Demonstrated pro-active troubleshooting, listening and problem solving skills

The Role

  • Manage the Account Manager team
  • Manage the lead pipeline within your team
  • Create and nurture effective relationships with the Connect Partnership Manager team
  • Maintain a high degree of ethical behaviour in all aspects of daily business including relationships with merchants, dealers, software houses and co-workers
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of applicable products and services as they evolve
  • Assess procedures and drive improvement
  • Distribute and track leads to the sales teams
  • Administer accounts and write reports
  • Analyse, interpret and present results to the Sales Director
  • Respond to client communications or queries and resolve any client issues
  • Provide management with regular feedback
