This Ofsted rated 'Ofsted' primary school are looking for a confident and enthusiastic lower Key Stage Two (KS2) class teacher to join them in Year 3 from September 2017.

This position is well suited to both those living in central London as it is less than 0.5 miles from a tube station and 0.3 miles from a well-connected train station. There is also on-site parking and therefore the commute for those driving from Enfield, Chingford or Essex will be straightforward.

From September 2013 this popular Waltham Forest, East London primary school has been federated with another in the Waltham Forest borough which enables them to offer further CPD courses and opportunities to staff members. Their partner school is also recognised as a National Support School so this would be a fantastic opportunity for NQT also. The schools also share an Executive Headteacher, who is also a National Leader of Education and who tries to support staff across the federation and offer guidance where needed.

This East London primary school is based in an idyllic setting, housed in a lovely old red brick building. Results are generally above the national average with almost 100% of children achieving above the expected grades in Key Stage One. The school has a really lovely environment which is partly down to the unfaltering support of the parents of the children.

In order to be considered for this Year 3, lower Key Stage Two (KS2) position you must have:

  • Either a Bachelor of Education or a PGCE in Primary Education
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Teaching experience in lower KS2 or KS1, university placement experience is sufficient
  • A genuine enthusiasm for teaching
  • Creative methods and exciting ideas that you can bring to the classroomPlease note that you will require an up to date DBS check or be willing to have a DBS processed by Reeson Education. You should also be able to provide two education related references.

Interviews will take place next week. Please don't delay in sending an up to date CV to Flo at Reeson Education ().
