Fitout Package Manager
I am currently representing a leading major projects main contractor, who is now looking for a Fit-Out Package Manager on one of their most iconic projects in London.
The project is a £400million highrise major project that is just coming out of the ground and require a Fitout Package Manager to procure the packages as soon as possible.
The role would be to work directly under the Projects Manager, comprising of mostly CAT A fit out, with other elements of involvement including off site modular build.
Other responsibilities include:
Coordinating all Site Managers and liaising closely with other Package Managers
Support the preconstruction and construction teams in all aspects of fit out and finishes, including design development, procurement and construction
Develop customer relationships
Ensuring good quality technical support in all areas
Read and understand all relevant drawings relating to their area of works and assess/advise on build-ability and product selection
Record and update detailed progress reports, changes and issues for areas of responsibility
Establish relationships with project partners and other key stakeholders
Set up regular, clear lines of communication to address issues that may arise
Organise and lead regular site progress meetings with sub-contractors to monitor progress, ensuring Project Manager is updated on all issues
Provide drive to the project programme and ensure sub-contractors meet the requirements for the programme, quality, and in working safely
Advise Project Manager and Commercial Manager of any cost/program implications
Candidates must have experience within a package management role in a main contractor environment, or they would possibly consider someone from a specialist fit-out sub-contractor.
