Supply Co-ordinator: 12 Month FTC - Southampton - £24,000 - Permanent

Excipion is currently working with a world renowned FMCG manufacture. Based in more than 5 European countries our client is looking to recruit a Supply Co-ordinator to join there team on a 12 Month Fix Term Contract in Southampton.

The Supply Coordinator is charged with delivering the optimum Supply Plan for trading and finished goods that are supplied from 3rd party vendor / contract manufacturers or Internal suppliers. You will manage all relevant information for the customer to ensure they are timely informed of any issues / risk of supply as well as building and develop relationship with all external suppliers. The Supply Coordinator works in close relationship with End Markets, Move, New Product Introduction (NPI), Finance, Procurement, Factories, 3rd Party Suppliers, Shipping Lines and Cross Regional Service Centres to ensure that the customer requirements are met.

Other duties are as follows:

Submit purchase order and production forecast calculation for transmission to supply chain hubs in line with sales forecast demand and inventory policies.
Communication with source factories and supply chain hubs to ensure replenishment demand supplied on - time - in -full to meet stock policy targets.
Regular engagement with New Product Introduction Team, Brand/Trade Team, external 3rd party warehouse for repacks/multipacks.
Stock reconciliation performed in line with audit requirements and inventory procedures.
Daily evaluation of latest supply situation to assess spot order requirements.

The successful candidate will have expertise in planning within an FMCG environment, this will need to be in either production, materials, inventory or forecast. You will also be able to process orders to internal and external customers. The main duty of this role is to keep working capital low, so you will need to be able to analyse and update the available stock according to the latest information on forecast accuracy on SKU level. You will need to have used SAP and be able to operate at a macro level on Excel.

This position is likely to suit a Supply Planner or Production Planner or Materials Planner or Inventory Planner or Forecast Planner or Supply Coordinator or Supply Chain Coordinator or Purchase Planner.
