£28,000 - £32,000 + Uncapped Commission (Realistic £10 - £12k) in the first year + International Travel!

My client, a leading Global Events and Exhibitions organisation, are host to a number of exhibitions taking place across the world including: Belgium, China, Dubai, Singapore & the UAE. With a unique vision and complimentary values, my client combines multi-format venues business and multi-format events to create unrivalled events for their visitors!

Due to continued growth of the business and the number of events within their portfolios, my client is now recruiting for an International Exhibition Sales Manager. To be considered for this role, you must have experience of selling Sponsorship and Exhibition stand space and be enthusiastic about sales!

This is a superb opportunity to work for a company experiencing year on year growth. The role is for an experienced Sponsorship Sales or Exhibition Sales Manager. The role does include International travel and the role is both Face-to-Face and Phone sales. YOU must have experience of working in Sponsorship Sales or Exhibition sales. 

Purpose of the role
The Italian Sponsorship & Exhibition Sales Manager would be responsible for cross selling a number of shows around the world. This role involves a lot of travel and a requires a consultative face to face sales approach.

Italian Sponsorship & Exhibitions Sales Manager Requirements:

- Minimum of 2-3 years’ successful outbound B2B telesales experience
- Determination, tenacity, resilience and assertiveness
- Excellent communication skills as face-to-face sales are a key element of this role
- Strong organisational skills
- Proven track record of sales success
- Ability to ‘smash’ targets and thrive under pressure
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office products

Italian Sponsorship & Exhibitions Sales Manager Responsibilities:

- Building relationships with exhibitors (including international travel and face to face meetings), selling sponsorship and stand space, and value added services
- Increase your market knowledge and the retention ratio of your shows
- Developing critical sales path for events, and working with marketing team on delivering exceptional messaging as part of a marketing campaign
- Manage and maintain the ever-extending prospects database & delivering sales objectives
- Responsible for account management and administration
- Deliver sales objectives, based on proposed commercial plans using market knowledge of designated sector (competitive events, trends, innovations, key stakeholders, media)
- You will be the main point of contact for the exhibitors before, during and after the show including the payments and rebooking.
- Responsible for the completeness of the entries of potential and confirmed exhibitors in Navision and subsequent paperwork.
