The Head is looking for a good or outstanding early year's teacher to join them from September 2017. They can offer this position as either a class teacher, or with phase leader responsibility alongside this teaching role for a suitably experienced teacher. The Headteacher is happy to consider candidates with either QTS or EYTS and is ideally looking for a candidate who has successfully completed their NQT induction year.

The school was recently graded at 'Good with elements of Outstanding' but Ofsted and their report specifically picks up on the behaviour of the pupils are being far better than average. Teachers often comment on how polite and courteous they are and have found the environment of the school a positive one in which to teacher.

This position would suit someone who is looking to progress over the coming years as the school offer many leadership and CPD opportunities but first and foremost they are looking for a solid teacher who can enrich the lives of their pupils.

Key responsibilities: - To develop the social and communication skills of children and provide a safe and secure environment in which the child can learn. - To record observations and summarise the children's achievements. - To focus on optimum child development and preparation for a successful transition to Year 1.

Key requirements of the post holder: - Educated to Degree Level - Fully qualified teacher with EYTS or QTS - To uphold our values as a school always striving to move forward with our practice - To have a full understanding of EYFS requirements and to keep up to date with development in the Early Years field
