Grafton Banks Finance is currently looking for a fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA) and progressive Commercial Accountant for an established and reputable company based near Brighton. Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will have clear ambitions on becoming FC then FD in their career. Some of the main duties will include:
*Month End Close: Actual v Forecast Reporting - Month End Provision Calculations - Cost of Sales Analysis - Statistical Reporting - Complete Monthly Management Accounts - Quarterly and Annual Group reporting
*Forecasting: Preparation of monthly forecast - Annual Budget Process - Daily and weekly sales analysis and projections
*Pricing: Analyse Pricing and discounts given to customers - Support Sales force to compile special pricing arrangement
*Capital Expenditure: Prepare Capital Project Requests including ROI estimates
*Ad Hoc analysis to support General Manager and Management Team

You will be technically confident, with UK GAAP and US GAAP reporting knowledge and possess extensive management accounts experience. Excellent budgeting, unit costing and variance analysis skills, are imperative coupled with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with non finance personnel. In addition, strong systems and process skills are essential coupled with excellent written, numerical and analytical skills.
The ideal candidate therefore will be a fully qualified rounded Accountant well versed in all accounting procedures and with proven experience of working in a similar position.
Previous working knowledge of SAP and/or Hyperion will prove highly advantageous.
