The Technical Support Candidate:

You will be a bright, go-getter, who is able to use their initiative to solve problems within IT. You will report directly into the IT Manager and will be the first point of contact for all IT issues within the organisation of 100+ staff. You will be happy to work in an incredibly varied role, from providing 1st line support to getting involved in large IT projects including the installation of new helpdesk systems and offices moves.

You will have a high attention to detail and the IT Manager is looking for a right-hand person who can take a hands-on approach to problem solving, and someone who can take projects and run them from initial conception through to delivery.

About the Technical Support / Project Engineer Role:

We are looking for an exceptional Technical Support Candidate to be part of our growing team.

Duties:

  • All 1st line support including desktop, printer and phone support for staff across all offices
  • Working with the Cloud provider on any cloud issues
  • Liaise with and manage third party suppliers, including gaining quotes and comparisons
  • Setting up new users, including imaging PC’s
  • Updating documentation, writing user guides and manuals, compiling quotes and ordering IT equipment
  • Running IT related projects such as office moves
  • Deputising for the IT Manager whilst he is working on other projects, taking total responsibility for ensuring all systems and hardware are working within the organisation
  • Supporting staff across different timezones
