Relationship Account Manager - IT Solutions

Brighton

Hunters’ client is a long-established IT support company serving SME’s across the South. They offer a consultative approach and retain a large and loyal client base.

Driving License would be ideal due to the requirement for client visits and relationship building.

- Salary of 20-25K based on experience

- Proven track record in account management in B2B environment required

- Fixed bonus payment available for achievement against target (No commission structure)

- Management and development of clients

- Progression to Business Manager (sales) optional in the long term to further career & earnings

Account Manager Role/Duties

Management and development of existing customers.

- Achievement against monthly and quarterly financial targets

- Account management of client database covering end to end sales and administration

- Client meetings, supported as required by senior team members

- Working with the technical department in the design of project/solutions for clients, utilising product knowledge learnt over time

- Preparing quotations, proposals, tenders and reports

- Sourcing and specifying IT hardware and software from suppliers, with support of our customer service team.

- Negotiating on price with clients/suppliers for best margin and closing business

- Project management and co-ordination with all departments (finance, customer services, stock etc.)

- Management and facilitation in the resolution of client IT issues

Skills Required

- A proven track record in account management

- A natural flare for customer service and client satisfaction

- Work under pressure and to deadline

- Experience in producing high quality proposal and tenders

- Capability to correctly scope a client’s requirements and correctly align our range of products and services

- Negotiation and closing

- Possess an excellent command of English, both written and verbal

- Clear and confident telephone manner

- Strong multitasking and time management experience and capability

- Computer literate with Microsoft Office experience

- Candidate must be able to drive due to client visits, which are essential in the role

Holiday Entitlement / Hours / Pension

8.30am to 17.30pm Monday to Friday
21 days holiday (3 days over Christmas obligatory, bank holidays aren’t worked)
Company pool cars available for client visits
