As Metro Bank continues its fantastic growth we are looking to hire an IT Applications Support Manager. Reporting directly into the Head of Live Operations your role will be to manage and lead our team of technical analysts working on internal business applications and well as driving through significant change for the wider bank. To achieve this you will need to be an experienced applications manager with a committed, proactive and outgoing attitude, as well as passion for delivering outstanding IT customer service.

This is what the job involves…

•Managing and resourcing the IT application support team.
•Overseeing the statement management process, and ensure it is robust and accomplished efficiently.
•Managing vendors and third parties providing IT support and services to support the applications.
•Building a clear strategy and planning, enhancing, and improving the application support service back to the business.
•Implementing the service improvement plans for the applications in scope.

And we are looking for someone who is able to do all these wonderful things…

•Extensive experience in application support management and team leadership experience.
•Experience in leading a multi skilled technical team in a customer focused environment.
•Experience of running a technical team in a customer focused environment e.g billing.
•Microsoft / Linux / Unix knowledge
•Good understanding of enterprise infrastructure architecture and principles
•Evidence of progression and consistency in career to date.
•Passionate about providing unparalleled levels of customer service.
