I am currently working closely with a hospitality business based in Watford who are seeking a Credit Controller to assist them within their large and vibrant collections team. This role which will report into the credit manager, will be on a 8 month fixed term contract basis and look after a large mixed ledger of the businesses global client based.

*Pursue all external and internal fee debt both by telephone and in writing
*Liaise with Brand and Legal teams on all pre-NOD's, NOD's (Notice of Default) and payment plans
*Perform analysis of payment plans
*Report on and analyse aged debts
*Assist in resolving disputed fees
*Assist with the affiliated query process
*Calculate, analyse and book Bad Debt Provision
*Analyse milestones for upfront fee payments and collect payments as and when they fall due
*Reconcile receivables and bad debt provision balance sheet accounts
*Responsible for all internal and external international fee credit and collections activities
*Work with key stakeholders and departments to deliver appropriate levels of support
*Communicate progress against deliverables and project deadlines to manager
*Support the team to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of processes
*Help to manage cross-functional links to other finance and accounting teams teams
*Adhere to Management Reporting deadlines to ensure overall effectiveness

To be considered for this role, you will need 2-3 years collections experience within a large scale business and be an effective relationship builder both with clients and internal teams. Due to the immediacy of this need, you will also need to be immediately available or on a very short notice period with the ability to interview early next week.
