My client is one of the largest Financial Services companies in the UK based in Southampton. Due to a structural change in the client we are seeking a Financial Risk Manager to join our client on a permanent basis.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Change Manger to join our fast-paced Finance team.

The successful individual will assist in the delivery of Finance projects and embed processes into our business as usual environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and track project deliverables, manage and prioritise workload of Finance project resource.
Regular status reporting ensuring clear and consistent updates are provided on overall project status.
Maintain project and resource plans, risk and issue logs.
Input to and review of project documentation including Test Strategies, Implementation plans and Operating Models.
Work as part of a wider project delivery team, communicating progress on deliverables and managing stakeholders as required.
Understand impact of proposed changes on business areas and processes within Finance.
Training and handover of completed processes to BAU team.
Act as a conduit between Projects and Finance teams.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders both within and outside the Project/Finance (including third party suppliers).

Qualifications required:
Educated to degree level.
Prince 2 or equivalent or by experience.

Experience required:
Experience in working with the Financial Services sector.
Experience of project and change activity within a Finance team.
Developed depth and breadth of expertise within a similar reporting environment.
Proven experience in developing reporting processes/ process improvement activity.
Excellent communication skills and Stakeholder management.
Proven experience of building and maintain positive working relationships.
