A lovely junior school based within the London Borough of Sutton are looking to recruit an experienced KS2 class teacher (Year 4 Teacher) to join the team and take on responsibilities from September 2017 as the Literacy Coordinator. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Year 4 Teacher with responsibilities for Literacy across a ‘Good’ Junior School in the London Borough of Sutton. The Headteacher is looking for an ambitious, tenacious and dedicated practitioner who is committed to raising standards. You will join part of the middle management team and will help with school improvement by ensuring the highest teaching standards are met within the core subject of Literacy. As a Year 4 class teacher, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a charming class of Year 4 children who are already working above the national average and exceeding expectations.

As Literacy Coordinator you will take responsibility for the development and implementation of the whole school policy for literacy. You will establish and implement clear policies and practices for assessing, recording and reporting on pupil achievement in line with school policies. As the newly appointed Year 4 class teacher you will be expected to work collaboratively with other Year 4 class teachers to ensure that high standards are met.
