Our client is currently recruiting for a CNC OPERATOR to work within their team based in Driffield.
This role is ideal for a skilled candidate looking to build a long-term career as there are lots of opportunities to progress within the company. The main purpose of this role is operate CNC and ensure accuracy and quality of finished products against customer orders. You will also be required to assist with all preparation and finishing of materials in-line with order requirements.
The main duties of the CNC role include; setting-up, operating or programming various types of machines for production of piece parts for shelters to achieve quality and integrity of products at the lowest possible cost. To assists with and/or performs repairs to parts on jigs, fixtures, dies and shop aids. To assists with and/or constructs fixtures, jigs, tools, soft vise jaws and shop aids.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working candidate with a minimum of 3 years on-the-job experience setting up and operating a minimum of 2 types of machine shop equipment, including CNC's. The candidate must have the ability to read and understand measuring and inspection equipment, tools. Basic knowledge of shop math and basic computer skills is essential.
Intermediate blue print reading is desirable
39 HOURS - MONDAY : THURSDAY (WITH OCCASIONAL OVERTIME ON SUNDAY)
