The role:
As business development manager, your main responsibilities will be generating new leads, chasing these leads and closing deals in order to grow profitable revenues for the company by targeting on-trade accounts such as restaurants and hotels, offering a wide range of global wines. This will be a new business style role and you will not be taking on accounts, therefore industry contacts are desired so you're able to hit the ground running. Focus on selling to the London area, it will be a primarily field based role.

The candidate:
The business development manager will be a vibrant and self-motivated individual who can work under pressure to meet and exceed their sales targets, a hunger and drive to succeed is key. Experience within a sales role is essential and experience within the wine industry is needed. The business development manager will need to be confident, a great communicator and have great product knowledge within the wine industry.

The package:
For the position of business development manager, you will be offered a basic salary of £30,000 plus depending on experience, a bonus scheme will be included and expenses will be included.
